What's inside

A family home, room by room.

The portal is arranged the way the family already lives: sharing what happened, keeping in touch, and getting together. If you can use email, you can use this.

Photos & stories

  • PhotosAlbums from reunions, old scans, and whatever is sitting on your phone.
  • StoriesWrite down a memory of a grandparent, a house, or a tradition before it's forgotten.
  • VoicesRecorded memories, so the next generation can hear them too.
  • Family history & documentsThe big milestones decade by decade, plus scanned certificates and letters.

Keep in touch

  • Announcements & newsletterFamily news, where everyone will see it.
  • Messages & group chatA private note to one cousin, or a room for the whole reunion crew.
  • MembersA real family address book, with birthdays and anniversaries.
  • On this dayWhat happened in the family on today's date, years ago.

Get together

  • EventsBirthdays, anniversaries, and holidays on one calendar — and on your phone's calendar too.
  • ReunionDate, place, schedule, and RSVP — and who's bringing dessert.
  • RecipesThe family cookbook, plus a weekly meal planner.
  • GamesTrivia, memory, word search, crosswords, and solitaire, with a leaderboard for bragging rights.
The family tree

Click from a child to a parent to a grandparent, and keep going.

Every ancestor has a full profile: dates and places, marriages, children, burial, and the photos and sources behind each fact. Charts show the family from different angles.

Pedigree chart

Your ancestors fanning backward. Click any name to re-center on them.

Descendancy chart

Everyone who came down from a chosen ancestor.

Family group sheet

One couple and their children on a single printable page.

How are we related?

Pick any two relatives and see exactly how they connect — "your second cousin, once removed" — step by step.

Also in the tree: search by name, surname and place indexes, timelines, anniversaries, cemetery and headstone records, and the sources behind our facts.

Privacy

A family house, not a public tree.

Anyone can read this page, and it says nothing about who is in the family. The family itself lives behind the sign-in.

Behind a sign-in
Photos, stories, addresses, and the tree are visible only to signed-in family members.
Reviewed before it's shared
Memories, photos, and corrections sent in by relatives go to a review queue first, so nothing is lost or overwritten by accident.
Cared for, and kept safe
Family historians look after the tree, changes are recorded, and the whole archive is backed up automatically with a copy kept off-site.
Joining

Getting in takes about five minutes.

No apps to install and nothing to pay. Here is the whole process.

  1. Ask for an invitation

Email the family admin with your name and how you're related. The admin will set up your account and email you how to sign in.

  2. Sign in and look around

The Getting Started guide walks through every part of the site in plain English.

  3. Add what you know

Fill in your own branch of the tree, or send a photo, a memory, or a correction.

The tree is only as good as what we put into it.
